I can write an entire book about all of our memories. Life for us was a difficult one. Through it all, we had an amazing mother who taught us how to love one another. We laughed and we cried. You were always getting into trouble. The days of Ludlow will always live in my heart.
I remember when we asked you to be Rebecca's godfather. Your face just lit up and you smiled and most graciously accepted. I had never regretted that decision as you loved my daughter as if she were your own.
And how can we forget playing poker with you. We always got into arguments because you made your own rules and the funny part about it was that you were the only one who understood them.
Through it all, we managed to overcome some obstacles and others just left us scarred. You are gone now and along with you, you took a piece of my heart. I now have a new angel to watch over us. As you look down upon us, everything will be so clear to you, and there is no further doubt in your mind as to how much we truly loved you. Until I see you again, sleep in peace my brother.
I remember how you were the dj at our wedding and had everyone dancing to your music. That was very special for me.
